Perilla oil is a fixture in the Korean kitchen, much like sesame oil. Chung-O’s extra virgin perilla oil is cold pressed a single time to preserve its authentic nutty flavor. Best for salad dressings, dips, seasoning or sauces, and as finishing oil to drizzle over grilled meat, vegetables, noodles, and soup. Some users take a spoonful of this extra virgin perilla oil for daily Omega intake.

  • To get the most of the deep flavor without losing antioxidants, the producer customized its roasting kiln. Inside its proprietary kiln is coated with loess (aka rich fertile soil) and equipped with infrared lights. Sprouted seeds are roasted to a nice golden brown color that yields a deeper nutty flavor. Every single perilla seed is sprouted before pressing to boost the nutritional value like good fatty acids and Omega-3 & 6
