Inje, a high-altitude area with a daily temperature difference of over 10 degrees Celsius, provides the optimal environment for Schisandra berries. Schisandra from Inje is firm, highly aromatic, and has a high sugar content. We handcraft our syrup using traditional methods, naturally fermenting the berries for over 180 days. Additionally, only the Schisandra berries, without stems, are candied to enhance their rich aroma and flavor.
A Note from Mealtones
It is made using a traditional natural fermentation process without any food additives.
