This black food contains over four times the anthocyanin found in black beans and black rice.

Black barley rice is a dark colored barley developed by Korea’s Rural Development Administration along with purple barley and blue barley. 

It is a distinctive type of colored barley, boasting abundant dietary fiber compared to other barley types and characterized by its rich, nutty flavor.

Adding about 20-30% black barley rice to regular rice and thoroughly soaking it before cooking can make the rice taste even smoother and more tender.
