A Legacy of Quality:
In September 2005, Leezen embarked on a mission to find a safe and healthy pineapple cake for consumers, partnering with the renowned Hong Fu company, which has over 30 years of experience. Prior to this collaboration, Hong Fu had already stopped bleaching the filling and used high-quality Anhydrous Butter instead of harmful hydrogenated fats. However, Leezen raised the bar, insisting on a recipe without hydrogenated fats, leavening agents, flavors, colors, or eggs.

Innovative Egg-Free Recipe:
Contrary to the belief that omitting eggs reduces costs, Hong Fu faced significant challenges in compensating for the binding and leavening effects of eggs. Chairman Zheng of Hong Fu utilized his extensive expertise and sourced natural ingredients, which are twice as expensive as eggs, to create an egg-free pineapple cake. The filling, made from fresh local pineapples and winter melon by Zhongmi Company, is encased in the egg-free pastry. The resulting cake is unexpectedly delightful, with a fragrant crust and soft filling, quickly becoming a consumer favorite upon release.
