Nousaku -Brand

Japan Imports Now is Nousaku’s official retail store in the United States.
This product is designed and manufactured by Nousaku in Takaoka-city, Toyama, Japan.

Brand’s History

In 1916, Nousaku started manufacturing Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea sets, and vases using brass and bronze in Takaoka, Japan. The city has been flourishing since 1609 and established its reputation as the center of the copper industry in Japan over the past 400 years.

The manufacturing process used by Nousaku is casting, which involves pouring molten metal into a mold to create an object of the desired shape. Each Nousaku product undergoes several finishing processes after the creation of a sand mold. Experienced craftsmen meticulously hand-finish each item, highlighting its material beauty and refinement.
