The reason why the clear toner pad can be used on both the embossed side and the soft side is because the two sides that perform different functions are bonded together.

We applied the 'hydraulic weaving' method, which weaves the fabric only with purified water, without using any chemical additives to aid adhesion.  The spunlace method, which uses strong water pressure to tangle the yarns together, allows for safer use without chemical irritation to the skin, and the fabric is soft and not hard.
