product details

Jasmine tea is the aroma and flavor that has accompanied me as I grew up. There's nothing quite like the jasmine tea from my hometown, Fuzhou. In my childhood summers, the whole city was filled with the fragrance of jasmine flowers. Jasmine flowers bloom exceptionally well in Fuzhou, and after a series of traditional flower scenting processes, they are transformed into high-quality jasmine tea, offering a unique experience of "smelling the floral fragrance even when the flowers are not in sight."

This "Jasmine Green Tea" is an entry-level option for savoring Fuzhou jasmine tea. It uses high-altitude green tea leaves as the tea base and selects the best jasmine flowers from Fuzhou, typically harvested during the hottest period of summer. It undergoes the "Five Blossom" scenting process, resulting in exceptional quality. It belongs to the category of jasmine teas that offer excellent "value for money."

The tea has a clear, sweet, and mellow taste with a pure and rich jasmine aroma. In terms of aroma, taste, consistency, and steeping endurance, it excels among similar flower teas.

If you're a "flower tea enthusiast," whether you consume half a pound a month or enjoy it for your daily work or study routine, you can confidently choose this tea.

Let the rich tea aroma and flavor accompany your sweet and delightful days. In the summer, it's also suitable for cold brewing, offering a delightful floral fragrance, sweet tea infusion, and a refreshing, natural taste.

Origin and Process:

Authentic Jasmine tea hails from Fuzhou. Fuzhou is Zhao Zhao's hometown and the capital of Fujian Province, renowned for its jasmine flowers and the birthplace of jasmine tea.

Fuzhou Jasmine tea primarily uses green tea as the tea base. The tea leaves are scented with locally grown jasmine flowers and go through a scenting process of six or more rounds. This process is necessary to achieve the perfect balance of "tea absorbing floral fragrance and flowers enhancing tea flavor," resulting in the refreshing and sweet taste of early summer jasmine flowers.

For this specific Jasmine Green Tea, high-altitude green tea leaves are chosen. The tea leaves are roasted and blended with fresh jasmine flowers, then sieved to cool the flowers. They are piled and allowed to rest, promoting heat dissipation, and the scenting process is repeated.

This process is done five times, including steps such as re-piling, scenting, flower unstacking, roasting, and cooling. These procedures combine to infuse the floral aroma into the tea, showcasing the high quality of jasmine tea.
