Traditional Taiwanese Snack
A taste passed down for 40 years, our "Red" Mian Xian (vermicelli) contains no added colorants or preservatives. The vermicelli gets its brown color from being steamed over a long period. With a fragrant and chewy texture, it remains firm even after prolonged cooking.
Usage Instructions
Boil 2000cc of water, add the whole package of Red Mian Xian into the boiling water, and cook for about 10-20 minutes (depending on your preferred texture). Season and add ingredients as desired, then thicken with cornstarch or sweet potato starch slurry before turning off the heat and serving.
Notes
The raw materials of Red Mian Xian already contain salt, so be mindful when seasoning to avoid excessive saltiness.
