Okinawa soba is made with flat noodles. When boiled, it becomes about 4mm thick. It is a dried noodle type that is easy to store. It does not come with dashi. In addition to "Okinawa soba," you can also stir-fry it with vegetables and season it with sauce to make "Okinawa-style yakisoba," make a thick "hiyashi chuka" with plenty of ingredients, or make it "Italian-style" with meat sauce and ketchup.
