Product Description

This is a high-grade black tea with very special characteristics, which is popular among veteran tea drinkers. Tea lovers who taste it will be deeply attracted by its typical nectar fragrance of black tea combined with a strong taste and mountain scent. It is an "exclusive tea" with a pleasant aroma, flavor, and depth that makes this tea unforgettable.

The wild tea leaves are from old trees over 100 years old which are covered with moss in Tongmuguan, the birthplace of black tea in Wuyi Mountain, at an altitude of 1500-1800 meters above sea level. As the old and tall trees grow slowly in an almost prehistoric environment and are harvested once a year, the annual tea production is limited.

The unique tree species and the almost prehistoric environment have contributed to the distinctive taste of this aged fir black tea with "remarkable fir flavor and mountain scent", which is a rare tasting experience combined with the warm nectar aroma of black tea. The tea is sweet, mellow, and refreshing with a long-lasting and relaxing sweet aftertaste and obvious mouth watering.

Traditional Tie Guan Yin (lron Goddess of Mercy)

Classic orchid fragrance, excellent sweet aftertaste and mouth-watering.
Charcoal roasted | Mellow and thick taste, long-lasting aroma.
The "original" processing method of Tie Guan Yin.
A favorite among veteran tea drinkers in China.

Product Description

I'm amazed by the "Traditional Tie Guan Yin" made by Mr. Wang Wenqing himself! And I highly recommend lovers of "Traditional Tie Guan Yin" to experience this tea, which has been highly appreciated by countless Chinese tea lovers due to the traditional tea-making methods.

Its high floral aroma permeates and also sinks into the cup. The processing of Traditional Tie Guan Yin focuses on heavy fermentation and heavy shaking of tea leaves, which makes it full of mild charcoal taste and completely different from the common Tie Guan Yin processed by the greening method in the market. It has the best mellow and delicate flavor that brings sweetness and more saliva to your tongue!

Once you open the tea bag, it will immediately bring the fragrance of caramel and honey to your nose. When you taste it, you will be surrounded by a deep orchid aroma. After three or four infusions, when you slightly tilt your tongue against the palate, saliva will gush out of your mouth, providing you with the supreme experience of a "watering mouth with sweet aftertaste".

Traditional Tie Guan Yin is incredibly intoxicating with a fresh and elegant aroma. The tea leaves processed by the charcoal roasting method give out a vivid orchid scent.

Origin & Process

This traditional Tie Guan Yin is authentically produced in Jiandou Town, Anxi, Fujian Province. The tea leaves are from “Red Bud Crooked Tail Peach Trees” that grow in a tea production area at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, and are the authentic tea species for making Tie Guan Yin. The buds are picked during the harvest season, with the standard two or three leaves per bud, and personally made by Mr. Wang Wenqing, an "inheritor” of Traditional Tie Guan Yin production, whose "production method" has won a national patent. He adopts traditional methods, focusing on heavy fermentation and heavy shaking of tea leaves with charcoal roasting, which brings fragrance into the tea and makes it warm and mild. The thick and elastic standard green leaves with red edges are one of the characteristics of high-quality Tie Guan Yin.
