Fragrances of fig and coffee lead to flavors of strawberry jam, plum, and clove. In its deep purple color, this Merlot is full-bodied and finishes with sweet cedar, toasted oak, hazelnut, and cherry. Although this Merlot pairs well with just about anything, it really shines with braised lamb shanks, marbled red meats, or lamb stew.
