Discover the allure of a truly unique tea from Taiwan, an exquisite top-graded Taiwan Oolong known as Court Imperial Tea.

This distinguished blend has earned its name by the decree of the Queen herself, capturing the essence of the authentic Taiwan "Oriental Beauty."

产品描述 / Product Description

Embark on a journey to experience the authentic taste of Taiwanese Oriental Beauty, a tea like no other. The secret lies in the tea leaves being gently nibbled by small green leaf cicadas during their growth, triggering the release of a unique substance. Through meticulous fermentation, this extraordinary process yields the distinct "honey aroma" that sets it apart.

This fascinating method, known as "half made by the bug, half made by man," grants this tea the delightful floral and fruity notes of Oolong, combined with the honeyed sweetness reminiscent of black tea.

The result is a rich and layered infusion, adorned with the mature essence of fruits and the irresistible charm of honey. Such a remarkable aroma can truly be found only in Oriental Beauty.

The presence of small green leaf cicadas highlights the tea garden's ecological balance, while the prominent white fluff on the bud head signifies the healthy growth of the tea leaves. Achieving the perfect degree of fermentation is crucial to unveil the tea's mesmerizing "melting honey charm" upon brewing. With a limited annual production, Oriental Beauty is a precious treasure that demands careful brewing and appreciation from tea connoisseurs. Indulge in the refined pleasure of this unique tea, as its nuanced flavors and exquisite aroma captivate your senses, making each sip an unforgettable experience for tea lovers.

冲泡方法 / Brewing Tips

Water temperature: 90°C for brewing
Tea to water ratio: 4g tea: 90ml water
Steeping time: 5s/5s/10s/10s/20s
These times correspond to the steeping time for each brew.

For high-grade oolong tea, there is no need to "awaken" it during the first infusion. You can enjoy a clear, sweet, and fragrant taste right from the beginning.

In the first two infusions, use water at a precise temperature of 90°C. Pour the water evenly and gently, ensuring that the water flows without disturbing the tea leaves, allowing for a quick infusion.

After the fourth infusion, you can increase the water temperature to enhance the richness of the tea soup.

The amount of tea leaves and steeping time can be adjusted according to personal preference and are provided as general guidelines.

It is recommended to use a lidded bowl or teapot for brewing. However, using a mug with hot water is also acceptable for convenience.

产地与工艺 / Origin & Process

Oriental Beauty tea, with bud heads, dry tea presents white, green, red, yellow, brown, and other five colors, also known as "five-color tea". Because the raw material has many bud heads, after fermentation, the white peony on the bud head is prominent, also known as "Baihao Oolong". This tea has a fermentation degree of 60%, some will exceed 80%, with its yellow and clear color, sweet and rich taste, and unique floral and fruit honey-sweet aroma. It impressed Queen Victoria of England, who named it "Oriental Beauty".

This exquisite Oriental Beauty tea hails mainly from the Hsinchu and Miaoli regions in Taiwan. In recent years, Pinglin and Taoyuan in Taipei have also emerged as production areas to meet the growing market demand. Our Oriental Beauty tea originates from Taoyuan, Taiwan, where it is meticulously crafted using traditional methods. Half of its enticing aroma is created by nature, through the involvement of bugs, while the other half is skillfully cultivated by human hands. The result is a true masterpiece of nature, delivering an exceptional cup of Oriental Beauty tea.
