KAGO is a product that utilizes the softness that is characteristic of 100% tin. In tin products, it is common to add other metals to give them more hardness, but nothing is added in KAGO. Since it is made of 100% pure tin, it is flexible and can be bent. By pulling or bending it vertically and horizontally, it transforms into a basket, which can be arranged into your favorite shape to hold items such as bread and fruit.
KAGO can be used not only as a basket but also in combination with ceramics and glassware for flower arrangements, light shades, and more. KAGO has been selected to be part of the “THE WONDER 500” project by the Japanese Ministry of Economy.

Brand’s History
In 1916, Nousaku started manufacturing Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea sets, and vases using brass and bronze in Takaoka, Japan. The city has been flourishing since 1609 and established its reputation as the center of the copper industry in Japan over the past 400 years.
The manufacturing process used by Nousaku is casting, which involves pouring molten metal into a mold to create an object of the desired shape. Each Nousaku product undergoes several finishing processes after the creation of a sand mold. Experienced craftsmen meticulously hand-finish each item, highlighting its material beauty and refinement.
