Being the fourth generation of potters from the Kenzan kiln in Tokoname, Maekawa Junzo stands out for his creations of tableware and especially teapots, a symbolic heritage of Tokomane. Maekawa Junzo uses a wide variety of lands and many techniques.?Its signature is certainly this particular elegant roundness found in the shapes.
The texture of the teapot is very pleasant to the touch. Pure white with simple curves, it is elegant and refined. Lightweight, its handle is comfortable and fits well in hand. The tea strainer is special since it is made of porcelain, it is a unique technique called "Sasame".?
