Finely stone ground matcha

Tencha is the name for the tea leaves used to make matcha. Tencha leaves that have been covered for about 30 days are steamed and then dried without kneading. The final step to make matcha is to carefully grind the tencha leaves with a stone. The resulting product is known as matcha.

By grinding the tea leaves with a millstone the grains become finer. As a result, we get a high-quality matcha with a pleasant and mellow taste and easy to foam.

The process takes a very long time as well. Usually, it takes one hour to grind 40g of matcha.

An easy to enjoy matcha tea with a tea strainer

You can enjoy this powdery matcha at any time just by sprinkling it.  

The tea strainer does not need to be washed everytime you use it. You only have to close the lead again after use.

!!Since our matcha is finely ground, it is charged with static electricity and may form small lumps (grains)!!

About the taste

This matcha marries beautifully with dairy elements like milk but also with salt and sugar.

You also can enjoy this matcha tea by adding sugar, milk or even salt according to your own preferences. Further, it is possible to mix it with different kind of batter to create new tastes!
