I was excited to try this, as I usually enjoy the Mama Tom Yum Flavor noodles and was curious as to how they would incorporate the Fire chicken flavor. I really wanted to like it and it's alright, but kind of underwhelming for me, as the soup didn't have much flavor in general. It actually resembled tomato soup somewhat, and at one point, I honestly couldn't tell if it was tom yum or tomato flavored. There was a strong scent of herbs and artificial lime or lemongrass, but it didn't add too much to the flavor. I didn't get any shrimp flavor from the soup at all. It wasn't as spicy as the usual buldak noodles or the ones I've tried so far.
